My Morning Apps
So basically, I use 13 apps when I wake up. It could be a lot of screen time but I make my own schedule so I can do what I want. The reason why I use these apps is to not only to wake up my mind but also to get me educated and something to meditate throughout the day. They involve religion to education and even mental health.
Bible: Youversion
To me as a Christian I should start of with reading the bible every morning before anything. Now I am not pushing anyone into religion. This is just me personally trying to put God first. I read the verse of the day as well as the proverbs for the day.
Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread is another Christianity App. It also gives you a verse of the day. As well as a devotion. I really enjoy hearing about the devotion's, and they are not long either.
Jesus Calling
Jesus Calling is pretty similar. Although they give you two devotions a day followed by a verse. I havn't been on this one as long. Someone introduced it to me while I was in the hospital.
Kindle
The kindle is great it can hold many books as well as have a monthly fee instead of buying books. I have been using this to find books on my mental health as well as fitness and nutrition.
Duolingo
Duolingo is a language learning app. I have been using it to learn Spanish and some Japanese. It is kind of built like a game. Fun and entertaining. Plus, it helps if I need to communicate with a client.
Mobile Knee
Mobile knee is kind of like a Christian tracker app. You can use it for goals as well as writing prayers. When you have your prayers answer you get to mark it as answered. Which I think is pretty cool. They even have a section for journaling.
DBT Coach
Dialectical behavior therapy also known as DBT. It is a good app because it helps keep track of your emotions. They even have some education on different mental health's. Like depression, anxiety, PTSD. I am using it to help with my BPD.
Shadow Work Journal
Shadow work journal was introduced to me in the hospital as well. Basically, it helps you learn more about your inner thoughts. I have been using it a few times and what it does it has prompts that it asks you and saves your answers. So, you can go back and see them.
HabitNow
Habit Now is a great app to help keep track of my habits and tasks. They will keep track of streaks and also the days you missed. You can customize your days and times with it. It has helped push me in daily tasks I should be doing as well as quitting bad habits and starting good ones.
MyTherapy
My therapy is a great app for tracking medicine. It's similar to habit now but for your meds and can also save your doctors and appointment dates. Not only that it also saves medicine you have had in the past.
Down Dog
Down dog is basically yoga. I am using it to get back into shape as well as getting some good stretches in. You can customize your plans as well as set the time on how long you want to use it for. It keeps track of the days you use it.
